Type of data
When you visit our website, we store various information as standard, such as the IP address, time and duration, operating system, browser, page viewed and the website from which you visit us. To do this, we use Google Analytics (see section "Google Analytics"). These data are used exclusively for statistical purposes.
In addition, personal data is only stored if you provide it on our website within the scope of personalisation (account registration, entry of address and contact data for the purpose of ordering, newsletter registration) or if you use the contact forms. You can object to the use of the data at any time.
Purposes of processing and recipients
Contract processing
model-tray® processes address data, contact data, order data and bank details for the purpose of contract processing. The collection and processing of these data is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract, as it is not possible for us to conclude the contract with you or to execute it without these data.
The legal basis for this processing is the execution or initiation of the contract. The data will not be passed on to third parties, with the exception of shipping service providers for the delivery of the goods, tax advisors for the fulfilment of our tax obligations and banking institutions for the processing of payment transactions.
Advertising
model-tray® processes your contact information to inform you regularly about product novelties, special offers, events and other highlights.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent. The data will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the partner company, which is responsible for the technical processing of the newsletter mailing. In these cases, however, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the required minimum.
If you have registered for the model-tray® Newsletter, the data you provided during registration will be used for the purpose of sending you the model-tray® Newsletter. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter, should click on the unsubscribe link included in all newsletters sent by model-tray® to unsubscribe.
model-tray® will only contact you for promotional purposes by other than postal means if you have given your separate consent or if a legal basis exists.
Duration of processing
The respective commercial or tax law obligations for retaining personal data are decisive for the duration of data storage. The data are routinely deleted after expiry of the corresponding deadline if they are no longer required to fulfil the contract.
Google Analytics
model-tray® uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. on this website. The use includes the "Universal Analytics" operating mode. Google Analytics enables us to analyse the pseudonymised usage behaviour of visitors to our website and to obtain user-related information. The legal basis for using this service is a balance of interests. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis of the usage behaviour and the optimisation of the offer on our website.
When using our website, cookies (text files) are stored on your computer, which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA where it is stored. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended to include IP anonymisation on this website in order to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. You can find more information on the terms of use and the privacy policy at www.google.com/analytics/terms/de or policies.google.com.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, for compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website and Internet usage to the website operator. The recipient of the collected data is therefore Google.
The personal data are transferred to the USA on the basis of an order processing agreement concluded with Google Inc. as well as under the EU-US Privacy Shield on the basis of the European Commission's decision on appropriateness. The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has expired are automatically deleted once a month.
You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as from processing these data by Google by downloading and installing the https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de browser add-on on your desktop or notebook. Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. To also prevent collection by Universal Analytics via mobile devices, you can click on the following link: deactivate Google Analytics. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. (Source: www.intersoft-consulting.de)
